A lot has happened the last two days. First I sank my dingy engine. It fell off the back of the dingy when I was coming back from taking Taylor for a walk. I was doing 25 knots in the dingy and the boat started going all over the place. When I looked back I didn't have a dingy engine. It took me 25 minutes and two nice people on a boat to get it back in. It was on my cable that we use to chain up the boat.
I got the engine running after a lot of swearing and several oil changes. It took about 4 hours of pulling on the start cord but if finally started. It still doesn't go a high speed because I had to rig the fuel cable I think I can get a new fuel cable and that should fix it.
I also put two new props on. They are bigger and have more pitch to them. It was nice having the extra speed today. I get about one and a half more knots at 2000 rpm's. So I'm moving at about 6.5 knots when cruising. That may not seem like much but when you go 50 knots in a day that helps a lot.
I also crushed my middle finger yesterday. I dropped a trailer on it and it is just about useless today.
